Our Founder
Robyn Eckhaus is a seasoned transactional attorney with a unique perspective and a forward-thinking approach to solving problems. After thirty years in real estate law and over $2 billion in successfully closed transactions, she brings her institutional knowledge, enthusiasm, and expertise to every deal.
Robyn Eckhaus has represented a wide range of clients in acquiring, selling, and leasing residential and commercial properties, both regionally and nationally. Her background in real estate transactions, title insurance, and brokerage taught her to understand real estate law from every angle, from the big picture to the smallest details.
She began her career as a real estate associate at Katten Muchin Rosenman (formerly Rosenman & Colin) in New York. She later established her own real estate law practice, founded a title agency, and served as general counsel to another title agency, where she worked closely on some of the largest-ever acquisitions in New York City and the United States.
Robyn founded Eckhaus Law as a firm devoted solely to residential real estate, where she can focus on building one-on-one relationships and providing an exceptional attorney-client experience.
Robyn holds degrees from the State University of New York at Buffalo and the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law. While in law school, she clerked in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
Besides her career in law and real estate, Robyn pursues health, psychology, and community betterment. She graduated from Columbia University’s Coaching Certification program and is certified as a holistic health coach by the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. She provides her coaching services pro bono to those in need. In her free time, she loves cooking, yoga, meditation, hiking, and running half marathons, but her true passion is her family. Above all, Robyn enjoys spending time with her daughters, Samantha & Alexa.
